If you have any updates or more info you’d like to see added to the list, feel free to let us know. Enjoy!
First stop is Sandalford Winery. Founded in 1840, Sandalford is one of Western Australia’s oldest and largest privately owned wineries. The award-winning winery is on beautiful grounds, well worth a walk around! Only 6 wines on their substantial wine list aren’t vegan friendly (just let staff know you only want to taste the vegan wines). They are open 7 days a week from 10am – 5pm. You need to book ahead for groups of 10+ and they charge $4.95 a head for tasting.
The friendly folk at Talijancich Winery come from three generations of winemaking! All of their wines are vegan friendly. They have a range of x6 table wines and a large range of fortified wines.
They are open from Wednesday to Monday from 10:30am to 4:30pm and you need to book ahead for groups 8+.
Harris Organic Winery
Harris Winery produce a range of dry white and red table wines, dessert wines and fortified wines and the first organic brandy and vodka in Australia! All of their wines and liquor are vegan friendly.
They do tastings from 11am – 4:30pm Wed- Monday. They do charge $10 pp for tasting session, which is refundable when you purchase a bottle of their wine.
Swan Valley Cafe
Come and see us for lunch! Try our Raw Pizza or Mezze Plate and book one of our Cake Tasting Plates for dessert! We also blend our own herbal teas and serve vegan wine and gluten free beers.
We are open from 9am to 3pm on weekdays and 9am to 5pm on weekends. High Teas need to be booked online 5 days in advance as all of the food is ordered in and prepared specially.
Free tastings! Many of their chutneys and jams are vegan friendly, but stay away from the curds and chocolate sauces. We had a chat with them and it’s really a matter of checking individual labelling as the products aren’t simply labelled ‘vegan’.
Margaret River Chocolate Factory
The chocolate factory is right next door to Providore, however they said over the phone that only their dark chocolate is vegan.
Mash Craft Brewery
Mash Craft Brewery serving handcrafted beer and ciders with a lot of vegan friendly options! Drop in and try the Mash Pale Ale or Pressed Cider – our personal favourite.
They are open 11am – 5pm weekdays and till late on weekend nights.
Oggie’s Ice Creamery
Almost all of their sorbets are vegan friendly! Just stay away from any ice cream with cookies in it.
They are open 10am to 5pm seven days a week.
All of the info for our vegan wine tour itinerary was gathered from company websites or from staff over the phone, so please let us know if we’ve left anything out. Let us know if you try our Swan Valley Vegan Wine Tour, and we would love to see your photos!
